Erica Berman

Erica Berman grew up in the US. After graduating from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Journalism, and surviving a summer of intensive language immersion at Middlebury College (Vermont), Erica came to Paris with hopes of submerging herself in French culture and perfecting her French. The goal; remain in France 6-12 months before heading back to the US to look for a real job. Many years later her Parisian experiences range from waitressing in a wine bar, attending photography school, founding another successful vacation rental company and decorating a lot of Parisian apartments. Since 2006 she has been the creator, manager and owner of Haven in Paris and the HiP Paris blog. Erica now lives in Maine and visits Paris and Italy as often as possible. In her all-too-rare free time, Erica likes to travel off the beaten track, explore Paris, read, take photos, cook, ski, hike and enjoy long Sunday brunches with her friends.

Meghan Cunningham

Sales & Service Specialist
Meghan grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina but spent most of her childhood traveling across the country and living in hotels thanks to her Dad’s job in the hospitality industry. She attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she studied History and Political Science. While she was at UNC, she spent 6 months abroad studying at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands and traveling extensively throughout Europe. Unsure of what direction she wanted to take post-grad, Meghan decided to move to Paris and live with a French family as their Au Pair. After falling in love with the City of Light, she came back stateside to start working with Haven in Paris to help others fall in love with Paris just like she did. Meghan currently lives in Portland, Maine. In her free time she enjoys reading, baking, and exploring her new home state of Maine.

Natasha Leullier

Sales & Service Specialist
French Canadian born, Natasha spent years alternately living in a rustic chalet in the woods, a small boat, and exploring the ancient streets of old Québec City. Introduced to travel early on it's no surprise she developed a fascination for history and the Paris of her ancestors. She has a BA from Université Laval and an MA in archaeology from the University of Calgary, and over time has worked as an archaeologist, a tour guide, and editor. In her free time she loves writing fiction, painting, and reading. She now lives in the Boston area and is excited for the chance to use her native language and help Haven in Paris clients choose their ideal home away from home.

Elise Marafioti

Operations Manager: Systems, IT, Accounting, HR, and Client Service Expert
Elise was born and raised in New York where she originally pursued a dance career. She holds an MFA in Dance from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and has performed around the world. Her love affair with Paris began as a teenager during a family vacation in France. She was immediately entranced by the City of Light and vowed upon arrival that she would one day return to live there. During a hiatus from dancing, she moved to Paris and earned a BA in Film & Media from the American University of Paris, followed by a Certificat de Langue et Civilisation Française from La Sorbonne. Throughout the years, Elise has taken every opportunity to return to Paris and has traveled extensively throughout Europe. She is thrilled to be a part of the Haven in Paris team and aims to introduce as many people as possible to Paris, her favorite city in the world.

Erin Dahl

Operations Manager, Paris; Editor, HiP Paris Blog; Client Service Expert
Erin was born in upstate New York, but always had a desire to live the city life. This brought her to Fordham University in New York City, from which she graduated with degrees in International Political Economy and French Language and Literature. Erin currently resides in Brooklyn, a home base from which she explores the city’s varied food and music. Though a New Yorker, Erin has had a whimsical affair with Paris since her first trip as a wide-eyed teenager, and has been eager for an opportunity to return long-term ever since. At Haven in Paris, Erin splits her time between communicating with travelers, writing and editing for HiP Paris Blog, and connecting with fellow Francophiles across social media channels.
