Thank you for sharing your beautiful home. It was a wonderful place to come home to after our long days exploring beautiful Paris. The proximity to the metro was great...we so appreciated that. Again, thank you!
We had a WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL time! The beds were super comfy and we slept like babies! We will definitely be back and recommend his home 100%. Location is fabulous too!
Excellent location with close access to the Metro. Apartment just as described. Tastefully decorated. Quiet neighborhood. Highly recommended!!
Gorgeous place, amazing location in walking distance to many excellent bars, restaurants, cafés, Eiffel Tower and others. Can't recommend highly enough!!!
The apartment was exactly as pictured, very clean and in an excellent location. Loredana was very helpful. We appreciated also the recommendation of Marc to drive us to and from the airport. We had a great time in Paris!
Thank you for an incredible week in Paris. We very much enjoyed all the apartment had to offer and loved the convenient location. Residential area very close to 2 metro stations and several bakeries, fruit stores, grocery stores etc. Very spacious and wonderful to have to bedrooms and both having ensuite bathrooms as we were there with our adult daughter. Everyone involved with Haven in Paris was very helpful and welcoming and allowed us to settle in as early as possible after our overnight flight from Canada. I would be happy to book with Haven in Paris on any subsequent trip to Paris and will share with any friends or colleagues looking to go to Paris. Can’t wait to get back to Paris one day!
My family of four (two adults, tween and teenager) rented this unit for two weeks in June. We were delighted with the space. Our greeters were on-time (which we appreciated so much since we were early both to check in and out), friendly, gracious and informative about the area. Our initial greeter kept in touch during our stay and was readily available if we had any issues. We used Gérôme Lassalle's D-Day Taxis service three times, which we found on the HiP site, for transport from Roissy, from Vaux-le-Vicomte to Paris on a late Saturday evening, and to Gare Lyon. I can't say enough good things about this service. Communication with M. Lassalle was always efficient and cordial, and all of the drivers were super-efficient, helpful, and friendly. The flat was cleaned once during our stay while we were out. A brief advance note about when that was going to happen would be nice, but it was nice to come back to a cleaner flat regardless! The flat itself was spectacular. It was great to have a kitchen, laundry and so much space in the city. We made full use of both bedrooms and the pull-out sofa. We would caution anyone with younger children or mobility issues to consider rental carefully, as the spiral staircase is steep. We left our actual luggage on the bottom floor rather than toting it up and risking our own balance or marking the walls! We respected restrictions on laundry usage (from 8 am- 8 pm), as we were often out most of that time, but managed to made it work. It was lovely to have a PC to use! We made constant use of the Metro stop around the corner, as it connected us wherever we needed to go. The flat was also an easy walk to near-by bus routes. The near-by market was great, as was having a Monoprix for groceries 2 blocks away. I think if you want to be in a super-touristy area, this is not the place for you. But if you appreciate having a spacious, beautiful flat in the residential area of Grenelle, this property is a great choice. We will absolutely recommend this flat to others, and found the staff at HiP to be terrific to deal with all around.
Our experience with HIP was outstanding. From our initial contact with the reservation process leading up to our greeter meeting us at arrival Haven in Paris provided the professional services we expected. The loft gave us an excellent "base of operations" to explore Paris and the surrounding areas. Can't say enough about how much we appreciated our greeter Loredana having available stocks of food and drink for our arrival after a long day of flying. The location of the loft could not have been any better. We were literally steps away from the metro, grocery stores, boulingerie and cafe's. Thank you HIP for making our family Paris vacation so memorable!! Brad Colwell Shreveport, Louisiana
The unit was very much as advertised on the website. Our greeter was fantastic and the built in features were great / Need to do something to correct the dryer issue with the amount of time it takes to dry as you typically are not there long enough to get anything dry. Note from HiP: We appreciate you pointing out the issues you had with the dryer. We will certainly be looking into this and are grateful that you brought this to our attention. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your stay!
We had such a great time in Paris and simply loved the apartment and the area! Loredana was such a wonderful host and she contacted us prior to our arrival to make sure all our needs and questions were answered prior. She was able to bring us a snack to the apartment in addition to the wonderful flowers and wine. I know this is part of your standard greeting for your visitors - but it is so warming and wonderful to be greeted in such a warm way. Her and Fred were in contact upon our arrival and so check-in was very smooth and check out was equally smooth. The flat was clean and the linens were very high quality - everything we needed was just perfect. The apartment was stocked well with all the staples as well. Coffee, tea, and supplies - needed nothing. We were able to buy groceries and enjoy breakfast in the apartment. Appliances were easy to use and the info in the book was spot on. We used Fred as our private driver to and from the airport and he was right on time and did a great job helping with the bags. He also checked in prior both before arrival and departure - so this was wonderful as well. Highly recommend his services! Overall - we just could have not been more happy with the service that HIP provided us - including this wonderful apartment. I couldn't think of another way to enjoy Paris! Thank to you and your entire staff for a trip of a lifetime. See you in a couple of years!
We were so incredibly happy with our stay at Haven in Paris, we normally stay in luxury hotels when we travel and I am so glad we made the decision to try your company, it was the most incredible apartment and service we have experienced in all our holidays and completely enhanced our stay in Paris! Loredana was absolutely beautiful, what a wonderful, kind and friendly greeter - she is worth her weight in gold! She went above and beyond what was expected of her role and made us feel so at home and welcome after our long 23hr flight! We used one of your recommended drivers - Laurent Baudry (it was actually his colleague Gérome who worked with him that picked us up) and I would recommend him to everyone. He patiently waited at the airport until we had cleared customs and collected our luggage without complaint! It was also lovely to have a driver who spoke some English and knew exactly where the apartment was and was familiar with where to go. The apartment itself was impeccably clean without feeling clinical. It felt so homey and inviting, and there was plenty enough amenities to last us a week (toilet paper/tissues etc) which is rare! Every tiny detail had been thought of to make the stay as pleasurable as possible and it didn't go unnoticed. We really appreciated it.
Our stay was GREAT. Loredana arrived shortly after 8:00 PM and showed us around the apartment. We found the apartment clean and comfortable but we did notice a leak in the downstairs bathroom which she arranged to have fixed on Saturday. When we checked in Loredana suggested and also arranged for Gerome (D-Day Taxi) to drive us to the airport earlier than we had previously scheduled. We called or emailed her during the week and she always promptly responded with the information we needed. Our check-out was as smooth as the check-in and Gerome was right on time to pick us up and drive us to the airport. Gerome was very courteous and helped with our luggage and thru our conversation gave us another insight into Paris. Although we had heavy traffic, we got to the airport on time and arrived at our gate 30 minutes before boarding our plane. The location of the Eiffel Tower Loft was fantastic. We enjoyed the easy access to the Metro, the grocery stores, and the street side markets (especially the pastry shop). We would definitely consider staying with you again.
We loved the apt in Paris. It is obviously the home of a Parisian couple, and is filled with their books and artwork. It was interesting and fun to have the apt for a week. It has lots of space, a great kitchen, and good bathroom.; It is very well maintained and very clean. It is spacious and great for 2 couples. It is a very comfortable place to stay. There are many nice restaurants and shops nearby. The metro is a block away. You can walk to the Eiffel Tower and many attractions. Loredana, the greeter, was wonderful. She was prompt, helpful, and friendly. When we needed some minor repairs she had them done the same day and then followed up to make sure everything was OK. She always returned our calls and e mails immediately. Overall, this was a great apt for us. We have used your group 3 times and have always had a great experience! Thanks!
I am happy to report that we had the best time in Paris. Loredana was so helpful and kind and the roses and wine were a wonderful gift. I loved how there was a book explaining how everything worked and had information on everything and anything that you could possibly need (such as multiple taxis to call for pickup and maps etc..). I did call the concierge to order a local iPhone but since I did not do it two weeks before they were all out, but we managed. The Eiffel Tower Loft was conveniently located next to the metro as we were out and about every day until 11:30pm seeing the sights. We also loved going to the market which was on Blvd. Grenelle on Wednesday and Sunday. It was very safe neighborhood and a close walk to the Eiffel Tower, the park and the walkway along the Seine (which I am happy to know is now closed to cars!!)Having lived in Paris for 3 years in the early 90's I was surprised to see an American size refrigerator and a shower for someone who is tall like me!! and to have amazing water pressure!! We were very happy making breakfast and lunches at the house as the kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. Having a computer to use was also a nice bonus as my husband would research what we were going to see for the day (Musee de Rodin, Versailles and the Louvre as examples) and then he would be our tour guide! We loved all the books and art and light that filled the place. It is very nicely decorated and functional.
Haven in Paris is a first-rate organization. They are professional, organized, responsive, and deliver an apartment exactly as advertised. Traveling with my wife and parents, we stayed at the Eiffel Tower Loft for a week in the fall of 2013. The place looked just like the pictures online. It was clean and comfortable. Everything worked in the apartment; appliances, washer/dryer, computer, phone, etc. It was a very pleasant stay. I would (and likely will) rent from HIP in the future.
Our family decided to rent this apartment due to the fact that it is located in an excellent spot. We travelled with three children aged 6,10 and 12. The apartment is filled with beautiful books and nice art pieces & artifacts. The two beds and the sleeper sofa were extremely comfortable. The sleeper sofa is of a true bed quality (not what you get in North America) This apartment was unique in that it had 2.5 baths. This is a rarity in Europe. The lower level of the apartment was very spacious and made it relaxing to hang out as a family around the dinning room table in the evening. The computer that was made available was a dream for the children. The Wifi was a dream for us with our ipads etc... The metro/subway line is literally 2 very short blocks away. It takes less then a minute and was called Dupliex. From apartment go left, take left and at end of block look up you are here. It is a great line because it connects to many other lines very quickly. Under this subway you will find a big market every Wednesday and Sunday. A great spot for fresh fruits, vegetables, roasted chicken,....etc. (Remember to always keep your tickets for that trip since you sometimes need them to exit at certain stations). A very easy free map of the subway station can be found with the ticket agent. If you pass this metro station and continue straight you will find cheese shops, wine shops, bakery shops, meat shops in the next two blocks. All were a little different so try them all! If you head left or right at the station you will find super markets and pharmacies a plenty. From the apartment you also have a little grocery store. Go left and take first right. You have made it in once again in less then a minute. The Eiffel Tower is literally a 4 minute walk from the apartment. This is how close you are to everything. The streets were clean and safe to walk around the apartment. I would honestly have to say that my only potential con would be: if your children are younger the staircase is very steep. Since it curls up to the loft. We were all more then fine with our age groups. The Haven in Paris team were very easy to work with. The USA office responds very quickly and still takes care of you many miles away.
This was our first trip to Paris. We are a family of five with teenagers in tow. We were torn about which spot to pick, but HIP was so great to work with we wanted to rent through them. We chose this apartment because of the size and location and, let me just say, it was perfect. We grabbed a cab from the airport and Loredana was there to greet us. She was wonderful. Greeting us with flowers and wine and then promptly showing us every detail of the apartment. She even walked us out and around to show us the nearest metro and stores. It was great to get our bearings. The apartment is couple blocks from the Dupliex Metro which can easily get you around the city, its a beautiful walk to the Eiffel Tower (go at night, its stunning), and there are several great groceries, cafes, bakeries and bars nearby. It is a quieter neighborhood, but you feel very secure and comfortable. The apartment itself was just lovely. We own a store and are interior designers (www.oldsouktrading.com) and we were just thrilled with the decor. It was full of a beautiful collection of art and antiques from around the world. The living and dining room are very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped for coffee, breakfast and snacks. The bedrooms were comfortable and the bathrooms spotless. We used all the amenities and they all worked like a charm. We even used the loft sleep sofa and it was very comfortable (tip, open the window by the computer for a lovely breeze at night). The only issue (and I say this very lightly as it was a great experience), is that there was a mini heatwave while we were there and we had requested extra fans or a portable air conditioner before we left from the states. It did take halfway through our stay to get the fans, but they did come and it made it much more comfortable to sleep at night as the bedrooms did not get much of a breeze as they overlook a small courtyard.
Renting the apartment was very easy. Lots of great communication from Haven in Paris staff. The apartment was very spacious with comfortable beds. We were able to walk to two different boulangeries, produce stands, and the metro. After touring all day it was nice to come back and relax!
