About
This Space
Set on the second floor of a classic Parisian building with elevator, this fancy one-bedroom flat has been entirely remodeled in the summer of 2020 and is air-conditioned. The modern, bright apartment was tastefully redesigned in a bold color palette, new comfortable furniture, gold frames and accessories, lush draperies, and rich fabrics.
Entering the flat, a hallway leads to a spacious open-floor space uniting living room, dining room and kitchen into a comfortable area to entertain or rest after a day of strolling through Paris. The deep, cozy sofa and two armchairs face a coffee table and a wall of bookshelves with a flat-screen TV. The other half of the living area, lined with windows, is composed of a dining area to accommodate 4 people and an adjacent modern kitchen well equipped with all modern appliances: dishwasher, conventional oven, electric stovetop, microwave oven, coffee maker, toaster, and refrigerator/freezer.
The bedroom offers a large comfortable king-size bed with two bedside tables, a desk area, and plenty of storage. The adjoining bathroom is fitted with a spacious shower stall, a warming rack, a sink, a mirror, and a separate toilet.
A washer and a dryer are available in the apartment.
At 55 m2 (600 sq/ft) in size, this impeccable apartment is particularly suited to a couple or business travelers. The fiber-optics high-speed Internet will ensure perfect connectivity for the traveling executive with a demanding schedule.
Of note, this one-bedroom unit is adjacent to a studio that can be rented either independently or together as a suite of two separate units.

About
The Area
Rue Montorgueil is the oldest market street in Paris. Today, the pedestrian road is still home to several of the city’s oldest stores as well as a crop of newly opened boutiques, creating an exciting mix of nostalgic and contemporary. At all hours of the day, locals fill the numerous sunny terraces and run their daily errands, stopping to chat with friendly shop owners. Strohrer is Paris’ oldest pastry shop (with some of the best éclairs in the city) and across the street you’ll find Paris’ oldest chocolate and candy shop, A la Mère de Famille. Au Rocher de Cancale is another historic address, serving fresh oysters hauled in from the Brittany coast. If you can’t snag a reservation at Gregory Marchand’s Michelin-starred Frenchie, try the nearby Frenchie Bar à Vins or famed Frenchie To Go on the narrow and charming rue du Nil, just uphill of rue Montorgueil. The neighborhood is any chef’s paradise, with stores like G. Detou, E. Dehillerin, and MORA, which sell various hard-to-find cooking ingredients and equipment. For nightlife, rue St-Saveur, a tiny cobblestone alley off of rue Montorgueil, is lined with some of the city’s trendiest cocktail bars. Staying in this area puts you a stone’s throw from Les Halles shopping center and its weekday farmer’s market, the Église St-Eustache, Palais Royal, the Louvre, the Pompidou center, and the Marais.
