This hip one-bedroom, one-bathroom Paris boutique long-term apartment rental is located in the heart of Montmartre – a lively neighborhood made famous by the movie Amélie. Unique and slightly off the beaten track, this furnished accommodation is the perfect Parisian home. Here you will find trendy shops, delicious restaurants, happening cafés and wonderful markets, along with small museums, and the famous Sacré Coeur basilica and its impressive Paris views. You will find endless winding cobblestone streets to wander and explore.
Spacious and arty, this fifth floor walk-up has a private balcony offering panoramic views of the Parisian rooftops. As you enter the property, you are greeted by original parquet floors, marble fireplace (sorry, decorative only), original artwork throughout, and industrial-chic furniture lovingly collected by the owner from French antique markets. The ambiance is a perfect balance of creativity and comfort.
The open living and dining room features large, floor-to-ceiling windows that let in Paris' beautiful natural light and give access to your flower-filled private balcony. The stylish sofa can be converted into a comfortable queen bed, and at night the living room can be sectioned off from the dining area with a movable wall for complete privacy. Just off the dining room, is the charming, fully-equipped kitchen with its eclectic blue tiles, breakfast bar, and modern amenities.
After a long day of work or play, you can relax with dinner or even just a glass of wine on your balcony overlooking the city and the sunset. At night, retire to your master bedroom, with its peaceful earth tones, comfortable queen bed, and quality linens. The bathroom is a designer gem, with its large, walk-in shower and river stone floor design, flowing from the sink into the shower. You will awaken in the morning to the sunrise and the sound of birds singing.
The 19th century building that houses your apartment rental overlooks a quiet, leafy courtyard with rose bushes, benches, and tables. It’s no surprise that the picture-perfect village of Montmartre has been the backdrop of so many well known movies, from Amélie Poulain to Midnight in Paris, and inspiration to many famous painters, like Picasso, Dali, Van Gogh and Monet to Toulouse-Lautrec, Mondrian and Pissarro. Winding cobblestone streets, romantic staircases, and hilltop vistas seem to have stayed frozen in time, and are at their most enchanting in the early morning hours or at dusk, when the crowds have dispersed. The tremendous Sacré-Coeur basilica represents Paris’ highest elevation point and offers a crystal-clear view of the entire city. After you pay a visit to the basilica, other cultural must-sees include the Musée de Montmartre, the Éspace Dali, and the “I Love You†wall, found just behind the bustling Place des Abbesses. Get a taste of the neighborhood’s ambiance while wandering the Sunday food and produce market on rue Lepic and rue des Abbesses or the emerging small businesses around rue Caulaincourt and rue Custine. Don’t miss Muse Montmartre and its charming owner, Majid, on rue Burq for a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, Coquelicot for Sunday brunch, Cuillier Café for fresh-ground coffee, and L’Epicerie des Environs for all that is local and delicious. Rue des Martyrs, starting in Montmartre and finishing south in hip Sopi, is one of the oldest market streets in the city and has greatly evolved in the recent past. It now boasts the charming Café Marlette, delicious Rose Bakery, hip Kookaburra coffee shop, Pain Pain bakery, Neo T teahouse, Sebastien Gaudard pâtisserie, and many other delicious speciality food shops. Its warm, inviting charm only continues to grow and merits a stroll from top to bottom, and back. Staying in Montmartre, you’re steps from hip SoPi,,an easy metro or bus ride to the famous flea market at Porte de St-Ouen to the north, and an easy walk downhill toward the bustling Grand Boulevards, Opéra, and Madeleine neighborhoods to the south. The convenient metro will whisk you to any point within the city in no time at all.

This was the fifth apartment we have rented from Haven In and every time has been a pleasure. The Haven team is incredibly professional and friendly. This year we stayed at the Montmartre Hideaway and the apartment is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, fully equipped and a perfect location for adventures in Paris.
Montmartre Hideaway was chosen for it's location as well as the apartment charm and it didn't disappoint. The five flights of stairs is a haul and not recommended for those in poor health. I am thin and fit, yet still felt winded at first. The view over the rooftops is outstanding and the two metro lines (Pigalle) just down the block are perfect for getting you to most parts of the city. Excellent patisseries, coffee shops and cafes are within a block or two of the apartment. The entire stay was fantastic.
We had a lovely amazing time in Montmartre! Everything was so lovely... we were able to explore so much and come home to relax in this wonderful home. Thank you for all your help making the arrangements. We can't wait to return! Merci! Au revoir!
Thank you... Merci mille fois for this lovely stay. Your apartment is parisian perfection, and I loved getting to know Montmartre more intimately. I'll especially miss the amazing views and sounds. Can't wait to return! Merci encore...
We had an unbelievably great time in Paris. The accommodations were simply extraordinary. We loved the character of the apartment and appreciated the tasteful decorations. Having coffee on hand for the morning was a very nice touch. The apartment was spotlessly clean. The apartment is quiet but half a block away you'll find cafes, fruit, vegetable, cheese vendors, dress shops etc. There are two metro stations very close to the apartment that are easy to navigate. Maria could not have been a better greeter. Throughout our time in Paris, we always knew we could call on her if we needed assistance. She had flowers and champagne ready for us when we arrived and gave an in-depth but not excessive overview of appliances etc. She also made reservations at restaurant for us before we arrived, at our request. She was fantastic. Well done HiP. Thank you.
