We visited London during the Easter Holiday and stayed at the Kings Road Luxe property along with our three children. The property was impecable, warmly decorated and very well located. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you to Haven in Paris and the owner of the property for taking good care of us.
We loved everything about this little jewel-box! Everything about the booking process was simple and painless. Joanne and Cristine reached out to us and offered their family drive and helped us with anything we needed. We are design enthusiasts and always choose accommodations accordingly, and this beautiful flat did not disappoint! There was SO MUCH inspiration at every turn. The attention to detail was impeccable. Nothing about the design was a facade. Every finish was truly bespoke and of the highest quality. We loved our stay and would absolutely return if we were to find ourselves in London again!
We had a great time. More importantly, the property in which we stayed was outstanding. It was warm and inviting, yet more than large enough to accommodate our family (one of the bedrooms we didn’t even touch). It is the quintissential London row home and in a very nice area of the city - safe, quiet and charmingly London. The house is decorated with a professional flair, had all of the conveniences of home including a great kitchen, and was a delight to return to after our long days of taking in the sights. Its Chelsea location is truly prime for navigating London. Close to many great restaurants, a 10-20 minute transit ride to all of the sites, steps from the embankment and a beautiful stroll along the Thames, and complete with a local high energy pub just down on the corner. But I have to say that the best part of the Kings Road Luxe property is its owner Joanne. She reached out personally via email prior to our arrival and helped us make the most of our stay. She connected us with her driver, introduced us to our greeter, sent us plans that teens could enjoy, arranged for a turkey to be delivered for Christmas, selected wines that were in the home for us (one as a gift), and placed a decorated Christmas tree in her home for our arrival. She went way above and beyond in her correspondence and her support. She was a delight, answering questions, giving us suggestions, checking in mid-week and availing her personal team to be available to us as needed. The only regret that I have is that we did not get a chance to meet her in person. She was the epitome of grace and accommodation. I would, and will, highly recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in London. You can feel confident that this particular property will not disappoint anyone looking to experience the authenticity that London has to offer. It was a great vacation.
We had a lovely time in the home of Joanne in Chelsea, London We had lovely accommodations. We were offered transportation to and from the airport, grocery shopping, massages and a professionally prepared dinner in the home. We were located conveniently to the tube as well as a grocery store. There was an excellent restaurant within walking distance in this quiet neighborhood as well.Communication between Haven and Joanne was excellent.
Well located for a walk or bus ride to Sloane Square, discovering Kings Road along the way. The neighbourhood is quiet with a local pub, Italian, Indian and Thai restaurants to choose from and an Embankment walk to digest after a meal or to discover history of the area e.g. Tite Walk and Chelsea Physic Garden, Albert Bridge and Battersea Park. Beds very comfortable, the linen high quality, luxury bath rooms and stylish living space. Highly recommended.
I considered myself very lucky to stay at Kings Road Luxe: the bed was super comfy and the house had everything I needed, including a charming outdoor space with gorgeous camellias. There is everything you might need during your stay and I was given plenty information about the area and especially where to eat interesting meals without spending a fortune. Cannot wait to go back!
