About
This Space
In French, ‘Havre de Paix’ stands for ‘Haven of Peace’, and it’s exacttly how we best describe our Lauriston Paris home!
The apartment is located on a quiet and residential street, in a chic Parisian building with very close proximity to Place Victor Hugo, the Arc de Triomphe monument, and the Trocadero/Eiffel tower areas. For convenience, there is a mini grocery store right across the street, and several cafes on the nearest corner.
The home is airy and cozy with a serene atmosphere. Natural light comes in through large windows with step-on balconies. The decor is clean, with comfortable furniture throughout. Guests will enjoy a spacious master bedroom with a king-size bed, abundant closet space, and an en-suite shower/bath room.
The full-equipped French-size kitchen is adorable and perfect for 'home-style' cooking. For the foodie’s delight there are countless places all around to eat and dine—casual, fancy, classic French, local or ethnic…take your pick.
Enjoy monumental Paris at your doorstep! A 3-minute walk up the street to the Arc de Triomphe roundabout offers a 180-degree view over the majestic Champs-Elysees, and a 10-minute walk to the Trocadero esplanade has one of the best Eiffel tower views in all of Paris. If you’re a contemporary art lover, the Palais de Tokyo and the neighboring Museum of Modern Art in the Trocadero should not be missed.
Lauriston is a calm and soothing Paris home with immediate access to bus and metro lines. We recommend it most to couples, professionals, writers & dreamers, on a mission in the City of Light!

About
The Area
With the Eiffel Tower, avenue Victor Hugo, the Bois de Boulogne, and the Arc de Triomphe as neighbors, the 16th arrondissement’s quiet, residential streets epitomize Parisian elegance. In this part of Paris, you can rest at ease in the serenity of a chic, authentic neighborhood while the bustle of Paris remains at arm’s reach. The 16th arrondissement is home to the Palais de Tokyo contemporary art museum in addition to the Musée Marmottan, a lesser-known trove of Monet and other impressionist artists’ work. Parisians from all over the city are drawn to this area’s quaint, village ambiance and will cross town solely to shop at the Passy covered market, the renowned Yves-Marie Le Bourdonnec butcher, and the boutiques of two exquisite pastry masters, Pâtisserie des Rêves and Cyril Lignac. For a breath of fresh air, stroll through the idyllic Jardin du Ranelagh or the Bois de Boulogne, which, in addition to a yearly springtime children’s festival, recently added the Fondation Louis Vuitton art museum to its list of unmissable attractions.
