FourBack to Paris
This luxury apartment situated around the corner from St. Germain-des-Pres in the heart of the left bank in Paris, encompasses the entire fourth floor of a lovely Parisian building. Upon entering this apartment for the first time, passing through the double front doors into the foyer, one is struck by the amount of light coming through the south facing windows of the salon and dining room, which look out over the Rue du Four.
It is difficult to convey in photos the comfortable and intimate feeling the rooms of this luxury apartment evoke with their beautiful woodwork and plasterwork. There are fireplaces in the living room, the master bedroom, and one guest bedroom. The open kitchen and the bathrooms are done in a warm toned marble. The master suite has a cedar dressing room leading to the master bath. The scale of the rooms feels just right.
Live like a Parisian and wake up to freshly baked croissants and café au lait before setting out to explore Paris, and later, coming home, having walked and walked, exploring miles of her streets. Excellent location. The apartment was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was just like the pictures. We loved the fact that we could walk to everywhere from there. There are also excellent restaurants and stores around it. The reservation process was seamless as well as the check in when we got to Paris. Would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Paris at a central location.
Many thanks for a wonderful stay in Paris. The apartment was charming as it was shown in the photos and the location more ideal then we could have imagined. With a few blocks walking, you have the high end shops on Rue Du Bac and St Germaine, Pierre Hermes for the world's best chocolates, the open market for cheese, produce and meats, the best fresh oysters at Huitrerie Regis, Bon Marche, Cafe Fluers, cosy Parisian bars and a few Metro stations to chose from (Mabillion is one block away). It was the inaugural introduction of Paris for pre-teen daughters and they loved it. However, I would say its an ideal apartment for a couple or small family looking for an alternative to the big hotel experience or keen to be central to the St Germaine neighborhood. The topper was the personal service. Thank you for all your help with difficult restaurant bookings (L'Ambrosie was fantastic - worth every Michelin star and Euro), spa booking, museum passes and thoughtful advice. Check-in and check-out was friendly, personable, simple and accommodated our schedule. Again, many thanks, Yann and Olivier. Looking forward to visiting again.
We enjoyed our stay at the Four apartment. Thank you.
This was a terrific apartment and we enjoyed it immensely. Both greeters were very helpful and accommodating, both on arrival and departure. The apartment was very clean and well cared for.
Everything went super smoothly. Our greeter was really helpful, we loved the Laduree maccaron and the wine. On the whole, the experience suited us well.
Thank you so much for a perfect stay in Paris. We didn't want to come home! We have had the most wonderful and memorable trip with our 3 daughters and felt extremely at home at Four. We were immediately struck by how luxurious every thing felt. The furnishings, art works bathroom products and particularly the bedding were divine! When traveling we would normally stay in 5 star properties and this was no compromise. We did notice there was no rug in the living room as shown on the website. The cleaners did a wonderful and thorough job. We had 2 cleans in our time there which was a lovely surprise. We loved every bit of it and can't wait to return. We would most certainly recommend Haven in Paris to any of our friends in Australia and would love you to include some more properties in Provence. We would love to return there but only with the Haven in Paris standard! Thanks again.
We have really enjoyed the apartment so far and it is exactly as described. Thanks again for your assistance and Yann (our greeter) was a great help yesterday also.
The property was excellent and exactly as advertised. The kitchen was a little small but very manageable. The location was very nice and convenient to transportation, museums, etc. The experience made us feel like we actually lived in Paris and we will do it again.
We had a wonderful trip to Paris, and the apartment was one of the reasons. We felt much more like we were living in Paris than visiting...much better than a hotel! The space was bright and pleasant. Having a nice living room and dining room was a real plus. It allowed us to gather for breakfast and snacks. The bathrooms were well appointed with lots of fluffy towels, soaps and other luxury hotel like items. The kitchen was small, but fully equipped, including dish soap, sandwich bags, garbage bags, etc... The washer and separate dryer were a real plus! The location was great! The drivers recommended by Haven were prompt and courteous. I never could have found an apartment like this in Paris without you!
This was by far the most professional and responsive reservation process I experienced with this kind of firm. The service and organization were impeccable from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. The flat was lovely and ideally located. Supermarket, car parks, restaurants, cafes, movie theaters, underground are all within minutes walk. Upon arrival everything was ready and clean and the representative who showed us around was very cordial and helpful. Having lived in Paris for 21 years, I was of course familiar with the area which is why I chose it. I know live in Geneva. Rue du Four is extremely well located ands literally walking distance to most Parisian landmarks.
Yann, the greeter, was charming and helpful. The apartment is lovely, and well provided - although it could do with more glasses (we had to put the dishwasher on more than would have been necessary had there been more). The provision of soap, toilet paper and adequate dishwasher and detergent etc was appreciated - we have rented many apartments and these are not always provided. The décor was beautiful. Thanks again - a lovely apartment, and Yann was very pleasant indeed.
Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us. We had such a wonderful experience living as locals and soaking up the incredible culture. The apartment is tasteful and comfortable, the location is superb and we hope to visit again. Many thanks and best wishes. PS: Thomas C was fantastic. He graciously and generously helped us throughout our time in Paris. He is wonderful.
We had a great time exploring Paris and the apartment was a perfect end for our busy days. Au revoir.
What a wonderful time we had exploring all of Paris. Staying at the lovely and roomy rue du Four made it a special trip for everyone. We certainly hope to be back.
Thank you for sharing this wonderful apartment. We loved our stay in this magical city. We can't wait to return to Paris.
Let me just say... Haven in Paris was a delight to work with. Erica and Laura walked us through the process with confidence and put our renting blindly anxiety at ease. Every step was seamless. As for the apartment...the pictures are great but the true Parisian feel, from the beautiful decor, the location, the attention to detail, the greeter Marc, everything was perfect. And the location is second to none in the 6th just off St. Germain des Pres near the famous literary intersection of Deux Magot, Brasserie Lipp and Cafe Mondrian. You can walk to a number of patisseries as well as a Monoprix and the ever exciting Le Bon Marche and for the gourmand and lover of wine Au Bon Marche. It was the perfect end to a memorable vacation in France. We had an extraordinary visit to Paris this time and this lovely apartment was the heart of it all. Every little detail, from the awnings to the art, makes this a perfect spot from which, and in which, to appreciate the City of Light. Merci beaucoup!
We loved Paris, and what a great area rue du Four is in! The location is terrific for kids. The people on site were very helpful and replied quickly to any request we had from repairs to restaurant recommendations. Marc (ou greeter) has been very helpful and is a pleasure to have around. Kudos to them. Nearby retaurants were fun, if typically expensive. le Zinc and Le Procope were favorites. The local pizza places were fun for the kids. Next time we head back to Paris I'll call you again and we'll see what's available. Thanks for all your efforts on our behalf. Jim and Tracy
