About
This Space
Marais Sicile is located in the heart of Le Marais, the oldest and most charming district of Paris. Set on rue du Roi de Sicile, a historic street dating back to the 13th century. The apartment is ideally located within a short walking distance to all major attractions and shopping areas.
Just around the corner is the Hotel de Ville (City Hall) building and the metro stop named after this city landmark. Notre-Dame Cathedral is just a 10-minute walk from the apartment and the left bank of Paris is also easily accessible by foot or public transportation.
Le Marais District offers some of the best shopping and dining experiences Paris has to offer and is famous for its eclectic, bohemian style.
This 760-square-foot apartment is located on the top floor with elevator access to the 4th floor, then a few steps up to the loft-style flat. The apartment is flooded by natural lighting thanks to the skylights and has picturesque views of the neighborhood rooftops.
Newly renovated and equipped with portable AC units, our Marais Sicile home offers chic and modern comforts and amenities to accommodate all your needs whether you are traveling on business or for pleasure.
The apartment sleeps 4 people comfortably. There are two bedrooms each with a queen size bed (the 2nd bedroom bed can be split into twins) and each bedroom has plenty of closet space.
The American-style kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator and freezer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, and even a wine fridge — as well as all the cookware you will need to prepare a traditional French meal at home.
The open dining and living area, just off the kitchen, is furnished with a designer dining table and couch as well as a large flat-screen TV with Bose sound system and cable channels. In addition, each bedroom also has a flat-screen TV and cable channels.
The bathroom, also remodeled in modern style, offers a large Italian-style shower and a combination washer/dryer.
The separate toilet room with sink is located at the entrance to the apartment.

About
The Area
Covering Paris’ central 3rd and 4th arrondissements, the Marais is the oldest neighborhood in the city, where medieval roads and architecture now contain designer boutiques, intimate museums, hip cafés, and hidden gardens. Just down the street from the Hôtel de Ville city hall, the Pompidou museum exhibits a wonderful range of modern art on four, expansive floors. In the center of the Marais, thanks to its historic Jewish heritage, you’ll find take-away and sit-down falafel restaurants and delis aplenty, including the world-famous L’As du Falafel, the newer Miznon, and ever-popular Sacha Finkelsztajn deli. Pick up a sweet treat from Pierre Hermé, Café Pouchkine, or L’Éclair de Génie and enjoy it in the calm sunshine of Place des Vosges, the oldest square in Paris, or escape the crowds at the hidden Rosiers-Joseph Migneret garden. History buffs will appreciate the Musée Carnavalet, a history museum dedicated to the city of Paris, as well as the fascinating Musée des Archives, both troves of rare documents and artifacts. The recently renovated Picasso museum and the hunting museum, Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, are fantastic options as well. Head towards metro St-Paul to rummage through the most unique antique and vintage shops in the area. Much of the Marais’ popular and varied nightlife scene caters to Paris’ gay population, but there is undoubtedly something to please everyone. The North Marais, toward Place de la République, is where you’ll find the delicious marché des Enfants Rouge and nearby cultural event center, Carreau du Temple, surrounded by a number of Paris’ trendiest cafés and clandestine cocktail bars.
