About
This Space

Located near vibrant rue de Lappe and up the street from contemporary Bastille opéra house, this lovely, modern 2BR/2BA is a vibrant haven in a hip neighborhood with arts venues, pedestrian areas, restaurants and bars.

Situated on a lively street, the second floor apartment has windows on both ends to bring in ample light. The front door opens to a hallway leading on one side to the living room, dining room and kitchen, and on the other side to the bedrooms and bathrooms.

The spacious and bright living room is lined by a wide bay window overlooking a private courtyard and a glass-and-metal structure designed by famous architect Auguste Eiffel. The living room offers a comfortable, low seating area with couches, a coffee table, and flat-screen TV.

The adjacent dining room has a table comfortably seating 6 guests. A countertop with 2 stools separates the dining area from the kitchen, an ideal spot to sip a cup of coffee or tea for breakfast, or a glass of wine while prepping for dinner.

The kitchen is modern and efficient with all utensils and appliances you are accustomed to: electric stovetop, double oven, microwave oven, dishwasher, coffee maker, etc.

Down the hall, the master bedroom is lined by two windows and offers a comfortable queen-size bed and a desk. It has its own en-suite bathroom with double sinks, an Italian style walk-in shower, and a toilet.

The second bedroom has two windows as well, a comfortable king-size bed that can be set up on demand as two single beds, and a desk. The adjacent bathroom offers a sink, a tub, and a toilet.

The apartment has fiber-optics Internet and WIFI throughout. There is a separate washer and dryer in the flat as well.

The apartment is only walking distance from the Seine river, the Marais and Place des Vosges. It's also close to famed Père Lachaise cemetary and Canal St Martin with its original restaurant and bar scene, fun boutiques, and leafy banks of the canal for romantic strolls, a salad for lunch on the grassy banks, or a glass of rosé with friends after a day of explorations.

About
The Area

The historical Place de Bastille, once the epicenter of the French Revolution, is now home to the Opéra Bastille, cafés, markets, and more. To its west lies the trendy and popular Marais neighborhood. To its east, a true Parisian neighborhood with the Marché d'Aligre (one of the best markets in the city); the Gare de Lyon that houses an exquisitely ornate restaurant, "Le Train Bleu," and connects Paris to southern France and beyond; and the Viaduc des Arts, a rehabilitated elevated railway with the verdant Promenade Plantée / Coulée Verte above, and cafés and shops below. The Canal St Martin runs in between, and the Seine right below.
