About
This Space

This unique countryside penthouse property is perched over the center of Saint Remy, Provence, ever since it was built in the 14th century. With panoramic roof terrace views and breathtaking historic details throughout, it’s an ideal vacation home from which to immerse yourself in the slow culture and joyful lifestyle of the French countryside.

A stone spiral staircase brings you to the large living and dining room area of the beautifully renovated St Remy Penthouse. Sink into one of the comfortable couches or lay out delicious afternoon snack brought in from the market at either of the elegant dining tables.

If you’d like to enjoy your morning espresso or evening glass of wine in a particularly peaceful atmosphere, take advantage of the internal balcony beneath a skylight or the bright rooftop terrace, which offers views onto the charming village and stunning surrounding landscape.

Three luxuriously decorated bedrooms are accented by authentic stone walls, and each come with a sleek, modern adjoining ensuite bathroom. The master bedroom features a king size bed (180 cm wide) which can be conveniently split into two single beds if needed. Meanwhile, the second and third bedrooms have queen size beds (both 160cm wide).

Should you wish to cook during your stay, a fully-equipped kitchen includes a prep table and Nespresso machine. This darling hideaway, while historic, comes with air-conditioning, front-loading washer and dryer (separate units), and WiFi.

After some quiet relaxation time, the town’s unbeatable sights are just steps away, and include the Wednesday morning farmers market, wine tasting in nearby Cotes du Rhones and Chateauneuf-du-Pape villages, or even walking trails in les Alpilles (little Alps). The many gems and joys of the French countryside are all within arm’s reach at the St Remy Penthouse.
