About
This Space

The Marais Garden Oasis is ideally located in Paris’ Haut Marais neighborhood. This gem of an apartment offers the perfect rental for families, business travelers, couples or friends traveling together. Fashionably renovated and decorated by its American owners, this magnificent 105 m2 three bedroom duplex apartment seamlessly integrates indoor and outdoor living with a Zen-like vertical green garden at its core.

You will enter the flat on the ground floor off a charming little Marais street. On the main level you will find to one side two of the three beautifully appointed bedrooms, each with its own modern, en suite bathroom, and to the other side the large and open and modular living space, dining area, and kitchen. The two sides are harmoniously joined together by the private outdoor garden atrium. Natural light bathes the ground floor through this private courtyard, and sunlight showers the lush, vertical green garden creating an enchanting ambiance and space.

The kitchen/living/dining area is sleek and modern and the walls have been brought back to the original exposed limestone and brick. These gorgeous walls coupled with the oiled oak floors and the modern kitchen, create a unique and stylish ambiance. You will love the zero-line sliding door system out to the atrium where you can enjoy meals or just relax in the privacy of your own private vertical garden.

Enjoy a morning Nespresso from the top-of-the-line kitchen that includes a Liebherr refrigerator, Smeg microwave, Sauter induction stove top, Siemens oven, Siemens dishwasher, and a sleek, crushed quartz crystal countertop. All appliances, kitchen supplies, and pots and pans are of the highest quality.

Some of the special furniture pieces in the flat include a Cappellini chair, Philippe Starck desk chair from Kartell, Piero Lissoni glass dining room table with Eames chairs, outdoor Tolomeo lamp by Artimede and a Cinna Living room lamp.

The master bedroom suite has a large zero-line sliding glass door system that looks directly out at the garden, while the second bedroom features a beautiful, original exposed beam. Both bedrooms have their own en suite bathrooms, each with a rain shower, and sink. The shared toilet with a sink can be found in a corridor separating the two bedrooms.

A contemporary staircase, framed with glass panels, leads from the living area to the lower level. The staircase may be considered steep, and the lower level of the apartment is really only recommended for adults with good mobility and children of minimum 10 years of age, or under parental supervision. That said, the main level of the flat is fully wheelchair accessible.

The third stylishly designed bedroom with a vaulted ceiling on the lower-level has been restored to expose its original stone walls. Next to the bedroom is a modern full bathroom with arched ceiling, a rain shower, sink and toilet. Behind the bathroom, is the laundry room, equipped with a state-of-the-art Miele washing machine and tumble dryer, helping you travel light while keeping your clothes impeccable.

All three bedrooms are outfitted with flat-screen TV’s with cable access, as well as air conditioning units to make your stay extra comfortable.

Ateliers Michael Herrman, an American architect in Paris, has perfected clever design and creative urban greenery in the Marais Garden Oasis.

This is the perfect vacation or corporate rental offering everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious Parisian stay. The stylish interior is a wonderful contrast to the Parisian building dating back to 1780. Let the beautifully designed aesthetic along with the relaxing and luxurious atmosphere of this unique property seduce you and you’ll be sure to have a perfect stay in this vibrant Marais neighborhood.

Please note: This space can be rented for events such as fashion week, business meetings and conferences, small wedding receptions and bridal showers, engagement parties, wine tastings, cooking classes and more. Please inquire on rates and availability.

About
The Area

Covering Paris’ central 3rd and 4th arrondissements, the Marais is the oldest neighborhood in the city, where medieval roads and architecture now contain designer boutiques, intimate museums, hip cafés, and hidden gardens. Just down the street from the Hôtel de Ville city hall, the Pompidou museum exhibits a wonderful range of modern art on four, expansive floors. In the center of the Marais, thanks to its historic Jewish heritage, you’ll find take-away and sit-down falafel restaurants and delis aplenty, including the world-famous L’As du Falafel, the newer Miznon, and ever-popular Sacha Finkelsztajn deli. Pick up a sweet treat from Pierre Hermé, Café Pouchkine, or L’Éclair de Génie and enjoy it in the calm sunshine of Place des Vosges, the oldest square in Paris, or escape the crowds at the hidden Rosiers-Joseph Migneret garden. History buffs will appreciate the Musée Carnavalet, a history museum dedicated to the city of Paris, as well as the fascinating Musée des Archives, both troves of rare documents and artifacts. The recently renovated Picasso museum and the hunting museum, Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, are fantastic options as well. Head towards metro St-Paul to rummage through the most unique antique and vintage shops in the area. Much of the Marais’ popular and varied nightlife scene caters to Paris’ gay population, but there is undoubtedly something to please everyone. The North Marais, toward Place de la République, is where you’ll find the delicious marché des Enfants Rouge and nearby cultural event center, Carreau du Temple, surrounded by a number of Paris’ trendiest cafés and clandestine cocktail bars.

Everything was just perfect at the Marias Garden apartment! This neighborhood is now our favorite in Paris. It has absolutely everything you need just a few steps away. At the same time it is quiet and a real Parisian neighborhood. We will definitely be back! Natalie, our greeter was very helpful and told us about great spots in our nrighborhood and the fantastic Klimt show.

Such a charming apartment in one of the best parts of the Marais! So many wonderful things are a short walk from here - the market, cafes, boutiques, and more. We loved the feeling of living in Paris for a week and hope to be back again before too long.
