Mas des Coquelicots is a beautifully restored farmhouse located in the Provence country side, in the oldest hamlet of legendary St Rémy de Provence, 2 minutes away from the old town's center with its fancy shops, delicate restaurants, open-air markets, bars, and ice-cream parlors. A rare treat at the foot of the spectacular Alpilles rocky landscape!
The property is comprised of a main villa, the Provençal Mas (farmhouse), of about 290m2 (3,100sq/ft) and its adjoining "pigeonnier" renovated into an air-conditioned pool house.
The garden is fenced-in for perfect privacy and has a total surface of 8.730m2 (2.15 acres). The pool is large (15m x 4m x 1,45m or 50 x 13 ft with a depth of 4.75 ft with a flat bottom), heated, chlorine based, and protected by an electric cover. The grounds also offer plenty of private parking options with a carport for 3 to 4 cars, and an extra parking space.
On the main floor, the villa has an entrance opening into a small work space with desk, a guest toilet, and cabinets. Next is the fully equiped chef kitchen, dining room, living room with fireplace. The kitchen and back kitchen have all amenities a chef might desire to entertain: two dishwashers, a refrigerator and large freezer, a Kitchen Aid, an ice maker, an electric oven and microwave, induction stovetop with hood, a small wine fridge, a Nespresso + drip coffee maker, a toaster and a kettle.
The back kitchen opens directly to the North-facing parking space to make deliveries convenient.

The pool house, a stone garrett reconverted and renovated from the original "pigeonnier", is air-conditioned and offers a small kitchen with fridge, a TV, a shower and toilet, and upstairs, accessible via a ladder, a smaller double-size bed (140cm wide) for afternoon naps or the occasional sleepover.
The villa and pool house offer WIFI/Internet and air-conditioning throughout, a Sonos sound system, Apple TV, alarm, video intercom and security access code.
The grounds also offer a pétanque court (the Provençal version of bocce ball), shaded outdoors tables and seating, several patios, lounge chairs, and large umbrellas (parasols). The property is entirely fenced-in for a remarkably private and secure vacation.
