The Château d'Arles is a family-owned estate nestled in breathtaking natural landscapes that have inspired Van Gogh and Marcel Pagnol. In the heart of the Camargue and on the edge of Provençal Alpilles, it stands at the crossroads of many activities, from hikes among the vineyards to olive oil tasting in ancient villages, to escapes to Mediterranean beaches. It was recently renovated and restored to its former splendor into a magnificent setting for family vacation, friends gatherings, yoga retreats, or weddings.

It is composed of a ground floor offering a sweeping dining room/ballroom with a grand fireplace, a professional kitchen, a living room a fireplace, a bar/lounge area, and a laundry room in the turret. The ground floor also offers a large guests bathroom with three stalls, particularly helpful for large events such as weddings. On the second floor, a total of 12 bedrooms are distributed into 3 areas: East Wing, L'Étable, and Le Cœur. These three areas can be rented separately or together depending on the size of your group.

Ideal for 6 to 8 guests, East Wing is a group of three/four adjacent bedrooms, each with their own en-suite bathroom, nestled in the turret wing of the castle. Spacious at 100m2, the East Wing includes a bridal suite with a super king-size bed and an adjoining boudoir with a sofa bed that can serve either as an office or accommodate an additional 2 guests. The two rooms composing the suite are separated by a door to ensure privacy. An en-suite bathroom offers a bathtub, a shower stall, a toilet, and a sink. The other two bedrooms, Le Printemps and L'Hiver, both offer a California king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower stall, sink, and toilet.

Le Cœur is the central wing of the Château and offers 6 contiguous bedrooms with 4 bathrooms to accommodate up to 12 guests. Two of the bedrooms are master suites with ensuite bathrooms. The mix of large rooms with en-suite bathrooms and single bedrooms with single beds makes Le Cœur a particularly flexible option for large families or groups of friends.

L'Étable is a private apartment for up to 6 guests with its 2 bedrooms + mezzanine, bathroom, fully-equipped kitchen, and living room.

Guests staying in East Wing, Le Cœur or L'Étable will be able to enjoy the Château's luxurious common spaces: The gourmet kitchen, the stately, immense dining room/ballroom, the bar and living room with fireplace, the expansive gardens with pétanque court, the patios to enjoy outdoor balmy nights and cool mornings, the large swimming pool with lounge chairs in the shade.

The heart of the Château dates back to the 16th century, but it wasn’t until the 19th century that it took on the form we recognize today: large wrought iron gates opening onto a driveway leading to an elegant château, exquisitely restored and decorated with taste in classic Provence colors.
