We loved our winter stay at Odeon. Chic Parisian apartment in one of the best neighborhoods in Paris. Steps away from amazing bakeries, patisseries and restaurants. Easy walk to museums, Eiffel tower, and other famous destinations. Fabulous boutiques just steps away. Taxi stand and Odeon metro right outside the door made getting around Paris very easy and painless. Apartment was comfortable and spacious for the four of us.
this was our 4th time renting through HIP & 2nd time at this property - already a glowing endorsement. HIP reservation process, service, greeters & prompt responses are always excellent! this particular apt is the best location for walking to everything we love @ paris and the metro (from which you can access anything!) is across the street. the apt is bright, has AC, great laundry facility and when the windows are closed - SILENT! my kids refer to it as "our paris apt" i wish!
Everything was wonderful except the internet connection Note from HiP: We are sorry to learn that the internet connection was less than wonderful during your stay. Normally it should be a strong, reliable connection. We appreciate you pointing this out and will ask the property manager to make sure things are working properly.
The Odeon apartment was great!! Location was perfect- metro and bus stop literally across the street. Markets, bank, restaurants, bars, etc also very close and all very good!! While it is a busy part of Paris, the noise of the street was not a problem at all!! The apartment was extremely clean, and well stocked with any supplies we might need. Our greeter, Loredana, was on time for both check in and check out. She was very helpful and explained everything about the apartment, keys, lock, washer/dryer, etc. Flowers and wine were an added treat, as we arrived on my birthday. It was also an added bonus in that we changed our departure date a few times, and she was very flexible and accommodating. Thanks for a great vacation in Paris!!! Enjoyed it so very much!!
Our family loved the apartment, the neighborhood and the location, too! We had an amazing time and can't wait to return soon!
Perfect stay at HIP Odeon! Catherine and I were here for the week visiting her two sisters/my daughters who are doing their semesters abroad. This apartment is lovely and was convenient by metro to one and by bus to the other. We could not have asked for a more convenient location. The double bathroom, laundry, and spacious common space made it feel like home. We went to the movies, walked to cafes, enjoyed baguette from Eric Kayser, and saw the sights of this beautiful city. Merci for a "fantastique" week.
We were impressed from the outset at the extensive range of apartments on offer to rent through HIP, to the point where it was hard to decide! The reservation process was very easy, very quick and and went smoothly. The service provided by HIP was very impressive from start to finish. We really appreciated the follow ups to check that everything was gohng well during our stay. Our greeter, Loredana, was terrific and really gave a us a warm welcome to Paris, with the roses and wine being such a lovely surprise. Everything ran very smoothly in a gorgeous apartment and we did not wish for anything. We could not have asked for a better location. Sincere thanks to the team at HIP - we will definitely be using your service again.
We are thrilled with our stay here at the apartment. The location was perfect - convenient for shopping, eating, and just wandering. The apartment itself is lovely and well-appointed. With three children, it suited our needs completely, especially with the two bathrooms. After a day in magnificent Paris, it was so wonderful to come "home" to Odéon and relax & unwind here. Sincere thanks to Loredana's attention to detail. Service generally was outstanding - the flowers and wine were such a lovely touch. We will definitely be back to stay again! PS can recommend eating at Le Danton next door. Food & service were terrific.
This is our third stay in this lovely building, our second in this apartment. We love the location and the great facilities here. The bedrooms are so comfortable & we love the closets. Thanks so much for a beautiful stay in Paris! We'd love to come back again.
My husband and I just returned from a fabulous stay at the Odeon apartment. Everything with Haven in Paris went very smoothly – from booking to arrival and throughout our stay. Our greeter was on time and extremely helpful. As for the apartment, it was great for the two of us. It was clean, well designed, bright and well insulated. Given the location on St. Germain (on top of the metro and a cinema!) we were extremely surprised that it was so quiet at night. Speaking of the location, it doesn’t get much better. The 6th arrondissement is a great, central location and the metro and bus were steps from our door if we wanted to use public transportation. Full disclosure on the apartment, the kitchen is super tiny – great for storing some breakfast items, but not at all spacious if you want to really do your own cooking. All in all, we highly recommend Haven in Paris and our little haven in St. Germain. Thank you for everything!
We loved staying in this apartment (7 nights). It's centrally located just steps from the Metro and were able to walk 2-10 minutes to excellent restaurants for dinner each night. There are also a number of markets close by and for those who can't go without - a Starbucks 3 doors down the street. The apartment was bright with a beautiful view of street/trees and cafes below. It was also sparkling clean with 2 modern bathrooms, comfy big beds, A/C that worked really well as well as a washer dryer and dishwasher. The windows were double pane so street noise was minimal and we and our 2 kids slept very well each night. We were worried about the stairs given some of the other reviews but they were not nearly as steep as I expected. It is a solid 2 floors however so if you have trouble lifting heavy bags, probably best to have someone from HIP help. We will definitely return to Odeon - it is fantastic!
We thoroughly enjoyed the apartment and the neighborhood. Thanks a lot! :)
The payment methods seem a bit cumbersome but the location of our apartment and the thoughtfulness of the staff and information provided about Paris in relation to the apartment are marvellous. Thank you for all those details and for your wonderful blog which I adore.
We loved this apartment and also the Rive Gauche Penthouse, where we also stayed. HiP provides great service and genuine hospitality; when problems arise, as may happen in the real world, the people of HiP are there to make sure they are put right. Unlike the stories you see about impersonal rental apps like AirBnB, our experience with HiP was all about quick, kind, personal attention and support.
We enjoyed our stay in Paris at HIP's Odeon apartment enormously -- have stayed at a number of other HIP apartments in St. Germain & the Marais but have just loved Odeon! Location's perfect and the apartment is really beautifully set up for visitors. Can highly recommend Chez Caldé for lunch and Les Papilles (a little further afield - down near Luxembourg Gardens) for dinner - service at both excellent & Les Papilles very special. Thank you Loredana for a very warm welcome & for our macarons (a lovely surprise!) and also thank you to Vincent.
OK. Be prepared for a very long but hopefully helpful review. The short summary is that basically what all the reviewers say below and HiP’s detailed property description are essentially on point – the Odeon apartment is like a luxury (European-style), four (out of five) star accommodation with a certain Parisian flair and benefits (like a common living area, kitchen and laundry facilities for the family) that you cannot find (except in a very expensive suite) at a hotel and at a price point that was better than what we would pay for two four-star hotels rooms to accommodate five people. That said, we rented the Odeon apartment for our recent vacation at the end of August for a week. The apartment is exactly as the photos on the website suggest, and the location is very central for tourists (and other) purposes in the 6th arrondissement – which appears to be a very safe neighborhood and within reasonable walking distance to key sites, like the Louvre, Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, etc. And, anything else you might want (e.g., restaurants, local shopping, grocery stores) is well within EASY walking distance of the apartment. There is an M4 metro station right across the street of the building which can be very convenient depending on where you are going, as well as a taxi stand diagonally across Blvd Saint-Germain. And, while the front of the building can be quite noisy, particular at night, the noise is not an issue at all if the apartment’s windows are kept closed – we’re from the NY/NJ area, so a siren every once in a while was not a big deal for us. The apartment is accessible only by three separate flights of stairs, although the last two are real ½ flights each. Not a big deal for me, but a minor challenge for our two elderly family members. The age of the building itself made it necessary to navigate the stairs carefully (especially with luggage) given that not all the stairs are level, but that said, no issues occurred. It does seem like the pathway to the apartment has been renovated somewhat (I’m not sure) but has maintained an old-world charm to it. Going up and down the stairs with care was all we ever needed to do. Our family of five fit nicely in the very Parisian-chic apartment that suited our tastes, as the two bedrooms accommodated the 4 adults on two queen beds and our 4-year daughter loved sleeping on the large sofa (futon-like) bed. The apartment is (almost) fully renovated (again, as the photos suggest) and was a very comfortable place for us to relax after a day of sightseeing and shopping. Upon entering a long hallway where the bathrooms are located and which also hide a separate but stacked washer and dryer, the main living area is spacious with high ceilings and large windows (two levels directly above the cinema) offering great natural light, and effectively contain “designated space” to serve as a comfortable living room and a dining area (as shown in the website photos). It was also great to look out the windows for people-watching, which added to the charm of the apartment. While not necessarily obvious in the photos, the living room and dining area furnishings are apparently very high-end or antique-like. The kitchen area is small, but very functional with a decent-sized fridge and freezer hidden behind cabinet-like panels to the left, a four electric burner stove to the right with a microwave (that looks like an oven) below it, and a small but usable sink in the center area – however, counter space is a bit lacking. The kitchen is stocked with various supplies where you can cook a full dinner and clean-up accordingly, if that is your desire, but certainly not necessary given all the dining options outside the building’s doorsteps. A toaster and electric hot water/coffee pot are also available. The bedrooms are relatively small, but were more than adequate for our needs with a very minimalist design and décor. The beds are also very comfy. We were not crazy about the pillows, but that is very much a personal preference, and not much different from pillows at low or high-end hotels. There are two walk-in closets, one of which is exclusive to the “master” bedroom (the one with a window) and one of which is shared between the two bedrooms. While there are TVs in the bedrooms and the living room, we rarely used them except for watching DVDs that helped to keep our daughter entertained when necessary. The bathrooms are very nicely renovated – while small by American standards, they were more than adequate by European standards. The rain shower head is great and water pressure is solid. The apartment had all the amenities (including various toiletries) we really needed, including soap, towels, laundry detergent, hairdryers and even two power adapters for our various US-based electronic devices. However, you still need to bring various personal items, like shampoo, a toothbrush and toothpaste. Still, if you forget them … no problem, as there is a pharmacy/drug store a few buildings down the block! The apartment has complimentary Wi-Fi which we used heavily with no problems, and also has a MacBook for use as well. Even calls from the house phone are free locally and to the US! And, finally, the apartment has central air conditioning!!! That was very important to us, and each room has its own thermostat; however, keep in mind that A/C is Europe is not like A/C in the US. We had the A/C set at the lowest setting, and while the A/C was comfortable, it was never too cold. I would imagine that during hot spells, the A/C would help cool off tenants but may not be cool enough in 90+ degree F weather. As for what can be improved, (1) more hooks and towel racks in the bathrooms would be great, despite the limited space – because we had five people, we had to hang towels outside the bathrooms; (2) despite being “fully renovated”, the floor in the master bedroom is very creaky, which is likely a function of the old building foundation underneath the floor boards – getting that fixed should be a high priority for the owner; (3) bring your own face towels, unless you like to use the “mitt-like face towels” which may be a European standard. The next renters might get American-style face towels if they are lucky. As for comparison to a hotel alternative, renters need to manage their expectations. While there are other concierge-like services available, they are offered at an additional price (i.e., a la carte). However, the person who meets you at the apartment (i.e., the greeter) is a part of the price you pay to rent the apartment – no separate fee, unless your arrival and departure times are at ungodly hours. Our greeter was generally friendly, knowledgeable, courteous and spoke great English. She was on time for the check-in and check-out process, both of which generally went smoothly. She was also responsive to any questions we had during our stay. She was particularly helpful in one instance to get us the right bed sheets for the sofa bed (what was originally supplied did not fit). In another instance, she could only convey what was happening within the building about a water shut-off incident that occurred for a couple of hours and was not within her or HiP’s control. This is part of the risk we took for renting an apartment like this; however, we were fortunate that the incident did not really impact our stay. Overall, we are glad we explored Paris while staying at the Odeon apartment. While the apartment appeared luxurious, well stocked and appointed on the HiP website, we were glad to see that it essentially met our very high expectations. Our time in the lovely accommodation helped to ensure that a great vacation was had by all of us in Paris!
We stayed in the Odeon apartment with our two teenaged children for a week in July. The location of the apartment is ideal. Really in the heart of St Germain des Pres. Despite being situated next to Boulevard St Germain, the apartment is actually quiet with the double glazed windows. Literally steps to Odeon metro and short strolls to Luxembourg and the Seine. Proximity to groceries and great restaurants is not a problem here. Truly great base to explore Paris from. The apartment itself was very clean, nicely laid out and equipped. Two full bathrooms is a definite plus. Wi fi was solid. The kitchen is a bit twee but it works. And the AC worked a treat in the very warm Parisian summer. We would stay here again.
The Odeon apartment was very nice. The greeter was very nice and was punctual at both ends of our week long stay. The apartment was clean and all the appliances worked well. The laptop computer you supplied was put to good use as we did not bring one of our own. From my limited experience staying at older, smaller hotels in smaller towns in France and also staying at someone's home, I thought the Odeon apartment was well equipped for visitors used to North American standards. I am referring mainly to the very nice bathrooms. Standing in the shower and having the sink in the same room as the WC was nice. Overall we had a good stay and a great time in Paris. The location is great. I would stay there again.
I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our stay at the Odeon apartment in St. Germain. Our nieces really had a great time in Paris and we found the location of the apartment to be perfect -- convenient to the Metro, ATMs and cafes. Loredana was very helpful and Laurent was great in getting us to Orly on-time. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.
We stayed as a family; wife, two teenage kids and myself. We are Americans of South Asian origin (India) and could not have picked a better place to stay. The Odeon apartment was located in an awesome place in St.Germain, 6th arr, near theaters, cafes, restaurants, buses and metro just few seconds away. The apartment had appliances in great shape. We had apprehensions about staying inside Paris city, however the apartment and the greeter Loredana made us feel super comfortable. We arrived late evening and Loredana greeted us at 10pm with a fantastic bottle of wine and treats. The next 6 days were one of the best days of our lives. Our children had a separate bedroom with two twin beds. Getting an apartment with two bathrooms in Paris is difficult, however this apartment had this convenient feature. Though the bathrooms were not attached to the bedrooms, they are super clean with towels, soaps and great showers. What I loved about HIP was little thoughtful items were taken care of: Power Adapters, a laptop with Internet (not just Wifi), an iPhone4 docking station (that our daughter loved), hair dryers, pamphlets about Paris, a phone that we could use to call USA for free, etc. HIP was Heaven in Paris! I am sure many of your customers would have said this, however, wanted to tell this ourselves. Thank you!
We stayed at the Odean apartment for one week in Feb 2014. Everything was excellent, espec. the reservation. The flat was very clean and Ms. Loredana gave us a warm welcome. The location is perfect for exploring the best of Paris, you step out of the front door and will find yourself in a very charming surrounding with shops, restaurants - and the tube is just across the street. We will come back!
We loved our recent stay in the Odeon apartment. It was perfect for our family of 4 and we will definitely book again when next in Paris.
HiP did a great job setting expectations in terms of photos; neighborhood guide; building guide for the rental. I suggest everyone read the materials HiP sends out beforehand so you know about the unit you are renting, the building itself and the area. You must remember you are in Europe so the way things operate, they are very different than the states. Loredena was wonderful! Very gracious, friendly and accommodating. Her English is impeccable so there were no language barriers. I also called upon Greg (one of Hip's recommended drivers) to drive me round trip to/ from deGaulle airport. He was a great driver; showed up on time and helped with luggage. His correspondence to me was also very timely. The flat was very clean upon arrival. Loredena did everything possible to ensure we were able to check in early since our flight got in at 8:00am. She showed us how to use everything - all the machines, the key to the front door, where the fuse box was, how to work the air conditioner.
The Odeon property is situated in a great part of Paris. It is easy to get to all the major sights of the city and having the metro on your doorstep is an added bonus. The apartment can be noisy of an evening, however we find the benefits and loveliness of the area far outweigh this inconvenience.
We stayed for one week at the Odeon Property in Paris and LOVED IT!! Our greeter, Roger was wonderful and was very detailed in showing us the amenities of the apartment! Absolutely loved the location!! Metro right outside our door and tons of restaurants, bars and shopping. Would definitely stay there again if we are lucky enough to come back to Paris.
It was absolutely fabulous. Roger was a complete delight and very helpful. Everything was completely seamless. Gregory picked us up at airport- he was also fantastic. I loved the experience -can't wait to return!
We can only give a very positive review of our experience with Haven in Paris. Everything went smoothly and there were no negative surprises. Only positive ones like the beautiful flowers and the wine. Roger was there waiting for us and thoroughly showed us everything. The book that you compiled was so comprehensive and well thought out! I was very happy with the nice firm beds, good linens and the clean fluffy towels. The apartment was very well cleaned before we came. The location superb! It was good that our 26 year old son was with us as getting our luggage up the 42 stairs would not have been so easy for us! We only had morning croissants and sometimes cheese and wine in the apartment. I would have opted for more counter space and less refrigeration had I been the designer as cooking a meal would have been challenging with the limited counter top.It was not a problem for us. But, we all really loved the apartment and it was really perfect for our needs.
We had a great time in Paris - the flat worked very well for us. It was clean when we arrived, no issues at all. We appreciated there were extra towels, soap, dishwasher detergent and laundry detergent for our use. As well as coffee, tea and wireless internet access.. And a laptop to use - that was a real positive surprise which helped greatly. All appliances worked well and the location was great (across from the metro, on St Germain). Roger was great - calm and informative. He was waiting for us when we arrived and helped guide the last few meters on our journey from CDG as the entrance door is hard to see until you know it is there (between a cafe and a movie theater). He was helpful with orientation and for a nearby Carrefore and restaurtants. I especially appreciated his follow-up e-mail a day or so later to see if all was OK (it was). Lastly Roger gave a great recommendation for a taxi service back to the airport (6G or something like that). Worked well. All in all - it was just what we needed - clean, professional, as advertised. Thank you.
I would definitely us HIP again. We were recommended to them through a friend. Odeon was conveniently located to the sights, museums and shopping. Great part of town. I would only caution if you like prefer perfect quiet at night, it does get rather noisy because of the movie theater, though not constant. The apartment set up and ammenities were great. Adorable apartment--very cozy. A million times better than staying in a hotel!
This is a lovely "Paris chic" apartment wonderfully situated in the heart of St Germain. The only caveat is that is is noisy. If you are a light sleeper, this is probably not the best choice. This is the second time we have rented from Haven in Paris and they are phenomenal. It is a real relief when traveling abroad to have a company taking care of all the details of our trip/rental as they do SO well. We actually arranged our entire trip around the availability of a Saint Germain apartment with HIP. We wish they would have more properties around France, ie the Dordogne. *HiP Note: The Odeon flat is located right on the Boulevard Saint Germain, so the bedroom that faces the boulevard does get some street noise. However, there is another bedroom that faces the courtyard that is very quiet and would work well for a light sleeper.
My experience with HiP was great right from the initial contact made. The team is very knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions about the different properties. This was my family's first trip to Paris and we're glad we stayed in an apartment versus a hotel. We were met by Jeanne, our greeter, on the day of our arrival. She was very pleasant and most informative of the neighborhood. We stayed for nine nights with our daughters (20 and 17). The Odeon has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms which was perfect for us. The Odeon is in a fantastic location. Walking distance to many sights, wonderful shopping nearby, great restaurants and cafes and a Metro stop outside the front door. Only complaint about this property is the noise level. The flat is on a busy street and can get quite noisy at night. However, I wouldn't hesitate to rent the same property again. A wonderful apartment!
The warm greeting from Jeanne, our greeter, was the tip that Odeon was a jewel ready for us. The apartment was everything that we needed to enjoy our stay in Paris with our two 16 yr. old granddaugters. The location close to the Metro made travel around Paris convenient. In addition, most of the major museums are within walking distance. One of the big benefits about Odeon is that it afforded us an opportunity to live like Parisians and immerse ourselves in the culture of the neighborhood and the city. Lastly, the Haven in Paris Team is the best. They've thought of everything and make your stay one of enjoyment without having to worry about the little things. We will definitely rent again through Haven in Paris.
Apartment is in prime location, best for our young family as it is near park, transportation, restaurants and sights. Be prepared for city noise at all hours, but the pros out-weighed that con for us. Odeon is the best place for so many reasons. The house-keeper was one of the best we have ever had in a rental. We all looked forward to her designated days because the place looked so fresh and bright after her visit. Hip was always quick to reply and professional in all communication. The plates really need to be updated but other than that, the apartment was a good home base for our month in Paris. The air conditioner was very appreciated, as well as the reliable internet wifi permitted us to work during our stay
Our Paris apartment was more sophisticated, better decorated, better appointed and better situated than we'd expected. In a way, the photos do not accurately capture the spirit of the apartment. It feels very Parisian (in a good way...) and it was more spacious than we expected from such a centrally-located apartment, in the heart of the city. The apartment is decorated with quality furniture and accessories (which is rare to find in a rental) and we so appreciated the interior design style. We felt we were not sacrificing the style and experience (that accompanies nice hotel stays) for the convenience of a family apartment. It is without reservation that I recommend this apartment to any set of couples or a family with well-behaved children who can appreciate (and respect) a well-appointed apartment.
My stay at both the St. Germain Luxe and the Odeon apartment couldn't have been better. Everything was perfect, my greeter Jeanne was great and was always available to answer any of my questions. As for the cleaning Victoria was excellent too. The flat was always thoroughly cleaned and she was flexible with the cleaning timings which suited me. Everything else in the apartment was perfect, and my stay in Paris was one of the best I've had. I surely will be coming back to one of your apartments soon.
Great experience! We loved the apartment, location, and the service provided by the Haven in Paris team! The greeter was very helpful and went through the apartment and everything we needed to know to make our stay there comfortable. Additional touches-the flowers, wine, laptop, cleanliness, and the binder that explained everything we needed to know about the apartment and our stay in Paris. We would not hesitate at all to use your services again.
Haven in Paris is my first online destination when I need to organise my trips to Paris. The appartments are always well maintained and beautifully furnished. The bathrooms and kitchens are functional and are spotless with high-end appliances, taps etc that do not drip !
I rented the Odeon apartment in November for a trip with two friends. We had an absolute blast and loved everything about the Odeon property. The living room is spacious, the kitchen has everything you could need, the bathrooms are clean and functional (the shower was great!), and the location was unbeatable. Right on blvd Saint Germain, we had great restaurants, bars, shops, cafés, and convenient metro stops right outside the front door. And the view out of the windows was great for people watching.
Our greeter, Regina, was very nice, thorough, professional, and responsive when contacted with questions or issues during our stay. We would certainly use Haven in Paris for future travel. Thx, Elvia
Making reservations with the HIP team was excellent. They were so helpful that we decided to choose renting an apartment vs a hotel and this specific site over others. The answers to questions were detailed and prompt. The Odeon apt had an excellent location, with the metro in front and restaurants and shops all around. Walking to the Siene and Notre Dame and cafes around made our vacation all the more special, I think. The kitchen made it convenient for the children (6,7). They loved the big windows and looking out the streets. Jeanne, our greeter, helped buy us special cakes for the birthday girls. All in all, a wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
Our apartment was in the heart of a busy area of Paris across from a Metro stop and near many busy bistros. It was within walking distance of many more shops and restaurants and bistros. It is on the second floor and of course there are no elevators so getting heavy luggage up a few flights is a hassle. It is great if you do not overpack like I did which makes everything so much easier. Our greeter was great. We did have a little trouble remembering exactly what she told us regarding the microwave oven; as things in Europe are definitely different from the appliances we have at home. We finally figured it out. Also the washing machine is not exactly self explanatory, so it is very important for someone in the group to listen closely to what the greeter is saying about the appliances in the apartment.* The windows were a little hard to close, but again, we figured it out and I would not say that any of these items were major hurdles for us. There was some water damage around the door and floor near the washing machine; the door was warped making it hard to open. I believe that this has already been conveyed to the owners and the repairs may be in the works.** One of the light switches along the stairways was not working which of course made negotiating that segment of the stairs scary at night.*** The apartment was as we expected the bathrooms were quite nice. Our location could not have been better, the linens were luxurious, and there was plenty of closet space (however if you do as I suggest: pack light. This will not be required as it was for me!) It was a wonderful property in a great location and with a few minor repairs it will be perfect. It was not a big problem for us but it should also be realized that even with good windows you can still hear street noise at night so future clients should keep that in mind. This may add to the experience, the bustle of the city, but again it is a personal preference. For us this was not a negative.**** *HiP note: There is a helpful guide which lists instructions for all of the appliances available to guests in the apartment. **HiP Note: We are currently working with the owner to repair this issue. ***HiP Note: We are working with the building management team to replace these light bulbs. ****HiP Note: It is true that the apartment is located on the bustling St Germain Boulevard (which we are sure to inform all guests about). With AC and double glazed windows, the noise should, for the most part, not be a problem inside the property.
The Odeon apartment 1. Is in a fantastic location. Paris is at your doorstep. 2. Is very comfortable and well furnished with A/C and great closet spaces in both bedrooms. 3. Surrounded by wonderful shops, restarants and facinating people. This area was very safe and very fun to be a part of. 4. The Metro is right out your door!! And if that doesn"t work for you there are taxis all the time or walk, walk, walk!! 5. There was 4 adults for 2 weeks and this location provided us with the best of everything with no hassels or stress. 6. The 2 bathrooms were absolutely fantastic 7. We highly recommend this apartment.
We had a great stay at your apt. Jeanne was very nice. The woman who was there to clean the apt was also incredibly sweet. It was sparkling, amazingly clean.
Our family greatly enjoyed our two week stay in the lovely Odeon apartment in Paris. The apartment was impeccably clean when we arrived and both our driver from the airport, Michael and our greeter, Jeanne were very welcoming and extremely helpful. Jeanne provided us with a detailed explanation of the property and also checked in with us at a later date(as did Haven in Paris) to ensure that all was well. The location of the apartment, while on a very busy street, is ideally situated for exploring Paris and has many convenient shops and restaurants right outside your door. The close proximity of the Metro station was also very handy. We would highly recommend both Haven in Paris and this lovely Parisian apartment.
I received an excellent service from Haven in Paris, including its greeter and recommended service providers. They were very helpful and available at all times. The apartment had good outside light and was in excellent condition, particularly its two fully renovated bathrooms and its location, right next to a metro station, could not be better.
Jeanne was so sweet and met us at the apartment and quickly oriented us to the unit. They were just finishing cleaning the unit when we arrived which was early(1pm) and were very sweet about letting us come in and drop our things off. (They were ironing our bedding when we arrived!) I loved opening the windows to the noise on the busy St. Germaine and when we closed the windows there was no noise. The apartment was as though no one had ever stayed there before us.... clean! My husband commented that the shower in the shower only bath was the best shower he had ever taken in his life. We loved the apartment!! I have already told many friends about it. I will never want to stay anywhere else when traveling to Paris!! The metro is literally out the front door and like much of Paris there is adventure in all directions. We were not ready to come home. The finest rental service we have used!
We had a great time. We really had no problems. Our greeter Jeanne was good. We used Andy as a driver for a day trip and to the airport and he was great - right on time and a lot of fun. The apartment was very clean. Overall it was very nice - this was our second time to use HIP and would definitely do so again.
We are absolutely in love with this apartment and already talking about coming back again. This apartment... the location, the layout, the furnishings, all of the details that you have put so much thought into... everything is perfect. We can't thank you enough for all of your help in making this trip so wonderful for us. I don't think we are going to want to leave on the 19th :-(. It is simply the most perfect place to live/stay in one of the most wonderful cities on the world. Jeanne (our greeter) was very helpful and truly made her feel so welcome and comfortable in our "home" in Paris. We have already told everyone about our favorite apartment rental agency, HIP, in Paris.
The HiP team and the Odeon apartment far exceeded our expectations. HiP saw to it that our experience and stay at the Odeon was flawless. The apartment itself was perfect, to state is simply. Its location, amenities and décor were well suited to explore the city and enjoy all that it had to offer! Our girls trip wouldn’t have been so wonderful had it not had been for the phenomenal customer service provided by HiP. I am eager to get back to Paris and stay at the Odeon again or another wonderful HiP property!
We loved the Odeon apartment. The decor was chic and the location was perfect. Our greeter was very helpful and offered many suggestions that a concierge would normally offer. It was nice to rent an apartment when travelling with children. We would definitely recommend Haven in Paris, especially the Odeon apartment.
We just arrived back in Chicago. The entire family was sad to leave Paris; we all had such a wonderful time! I just want to let you know that we have nothing but good things to say about our stay at the Odeon apartment! Thank you very much for making our trip a success. It was a comfort having someone meet us at the apt upon arrival and having a local contact while we were there just in case we needed something. We loved the location, kids enjoyed watching the action out the window, particularly watching the candy man set up every day! and it was super convenient to walking to the sites and, of course, the metro right outside the door! The apartment was super clean, kitchen while small extremely adequate for our needs and the washer/dryer was a huge bonus. It was everything we needed and we were super pleased.
The apartment was lovely, bright and airy. It was well appointed and was perfect for our family of 4 with two tween boys. The Boulevard St Germain is quite noisy and it was necessary to close the windows and use the a/c at night but that was not a problem. Although I realized that a first floor in France is really the second floor there were a lot more steps than we expected. I would suggest that folks expect the arrival and departure to be a little difficult with luggage. Our greeter was lovely and couldn't have been more helpful. We locked ourselves out of the apartment one day and she brought us the key at our convenience. My husband had injured his leg and was not able to help with the luggage and our greeter was so kind and she helped me move out when we were going to the airport.
My husband and I were delighted with the fabulous location this apartment provided. You have only to step outside to find everything you could want within steps, including wonderful patisseries. Having the Odeon metro stop outside was very convenient because the weather was rainy during our stay. There is also a taxi stop at the corner. The two bedroom unit was very agreeable for the two of us, although it could accommodate more. We liked each having our own newly refurbished bath. Particularly pleasing was the fact that everything was brand new and exceptionally clean and fresh. The decor is modern in tone. The support provided by Haven in Paris was excellent. The owner made outstanding restaurant recommendations (which were excellent) and attended to several minor requests (such as for additional pillows) immediately. Our Haven in Paris concierge, Jeanne, booked our restaurant reservations and was available to guide us through the TV and internet setup. We would definitely return.
I have always stayed in the area so I knew the area well. The apartment was perfect. The cleaning was spotless. We had reservations at Relais St Germaine around the corner but I think this was better. More relaxed. I would definitely recommend.
Just wanted to let you know how happy we were with the Odeon apartment and the support of Haven in Paris, especially our greeter, Nader, who was delightful. Many thanks for booking us at Odeon and we hope to come back to Paris soon!
We really had a wonderful time in the apartment and will DEFINITELY be staying there again!
