Steps away from Paris’ beloved and bustling Boulevard Saint-Germain is a one-of-a-kind, two floor hideaway. And facing the city’s oldest cafe, Le Procope, there’s possibly nowhere quite as authentically Parisian or as utterly comfortable as the St. Germain Secret.
A light-filled salon offers comfortable seating for relaxation after a day of exploring the historic parks, cafes, churches, and farmers markets of the Left Bank. Cozy up on the couch with a loved one to watch a movie in the evening, or stretch your legs out on the bench beside the window with a good book from the bookshelf. Extra seating and a coffee table allow for a casual apero in the evening with friends, as well.
After picking up some fresh cheese, baguette, and produce from one of the Left Bank’s colorful food markets, why not try your hand at cooking up an authentic French recipe? The apartment has a modern kitchen, fully-equipped with a stove, oven, coffee maker, and washer/dryer, for your convenience.
Meanwhile, on the first floor, up a spiral staircase, is the spacious bedroom and bathroom. You’ll also find a dresser for storing your belongings, a television, and a desk for writing postcards or jotting memories down in your travel diary.
Just outside of your intimate Parisian home-away-from-home, you'll find one of Paris' oldest thoroughfares, and the historic heart of Paris "café society.” The adorable bookshops and classic Parisian cafes - where famous writers like Sartre, Hemingway, and Orwell spent their time - on Boulevard Saint Germain are just a short stroll away. However, some newer establishments have joined the neighborhood in recent years, bringing a new flux of hip, young professionals and students who can be seen toasting one another with glasses of French wine in the evenings.
For fashion lovers, Saint-Germain is also home to a number of luxury designer shops and unique boutiques. You’ll notice the locals of Saint Germain usually take great care to look stylish and understate, making for excellent people-watching in the area.
